Flowuid is a device thought to help people improve their health during their work routine. Its concept is based on POMODORO`s time management technique that recommends a 20-8-2 minutes work session in order to avoid body and mind stress. The time consists of 20 minutes work, 8 minutes doing another task, and 2 minutes of rest.
Flowuid, unlike other devices in the market, is unintrusive with an interesting yet functional design that adapts to the office work enviroment.
Flowuid是一個放在辦公區域的互動裝置。它將番茄工作法的原理與磁流體的運動相結合，通過用戶與磁流體的交互，逐步引導用戶養成健康及高效的工作習慣。其名字Flowuid來源於英文的flow（流動）與fluid（流體）的結合。作品力求展現出磁流體運動的美感；更引入了隨機算法，使磁流體運動呈現出不可預知性，增添了作品的趣味性。磁流體在有限的空間中，彷彿具有了自由意志，在隨機的運動中展現出無限的可能性。作品外觀靈感取自於大自然，通過幾何形貌的山脈結構和層疊的波浪裝飾讓內部的磁流體運動逐漸顯現。用戶可通過APP來自定義磁流體的運動方式，打造出屬於自己獨有的Flowuid，並將作品分享於社區；更可收集個人工作效率的數據，並發布於社區，增加與其他用戶的互動。整個作品融合了藝術和科技，不僅是一台有助於提高工作效率的裝置，更是一件精美的桌面裝飾品。訪客留言
