當開始為第一幅版畫製作雕版時，在木板上刻劃的每一刀都能聽到「沙沙」木屑脫落的聲音，細看雕版上木材天然的木紋，觸摸著木板上被雕琢出的坑紋，彷彿能透過這三種感官與木材促膝詳談，頃刻間遠離都市煩囂，投身大自然......個人內心的孤寂感最終配合色彩深深烙印在作品上，也令人頓時開懷。
When I was doing the woodblock print, carving on the matrix, staring at the grain and feeling the surface of the matrix made me feel like having communication with the wood, and flew me out of the urban towards the woods. Finally, my original loneliness left me and stayed on the woodblock print only.
