The Dream on Sunset Island

To used different colours to illustrate the relaxing feeling with a sunset background. Inspired by “A Good Day” of Heidi Malott, To constructed her feeling by using a scene with an island during sunset. She has the idea of creating such moody illusion is because she would like to create a contrast towards her busy life in Hong Kong with the scene in her work. Most of the people in Hong Kong are living in the hustling and bustling city with busy traffic and tight schedules. They do not have time to relax and enjoy themselves. To has the same situation. She would like to have a chance that she could put down all her work and have this scenery in front of her, appreciating the sunset on an island. She only used simple materials, such as leaves and cotton paper to create this piece of work, showing that this is only a simple dream of her. In reality, this can hardly happen and so this can only be appearing in her dream.
