Polar Bear Daydream

As the Arctic season turns from autumn to winter, the sky closes its doors earlier and earlier on the light. The sun’s energy is at its lowest and the land remains sleepy.

I took this image a moment after sunset, as the sky turned purple and the polar bear walked lost in thought, oblivious to time or destination. The blanket beneath him and the low light were perfect conditions for a little Arctic daydreaming.
