Who did it?

Who did it? No, not I, mouthed the two brown bear cubs.

Mama bear edged closer, staring deeply into their unwavering eyes. Again, she asked and neither admitted their guilt. Both cubs stood erect on their hind legs, hefty clawed paws at their sides. The tall grass threatened to swallow them whole. This image captures their unsure stance. It was as if they were waiting for their mother to discover an unspoken truth.
