I witnessed this scene from afar, which immediately drew me with its affectionate tone. The mother brown bear and two cubs rested atop the soft sand, along the water’s edge and appeared oblivious to any visitors. One cub nestled against the mother’s neck, using her arm as a pillow and the other rested against her side and shoulder. I observed the interaction, careful not to draw attention, as I inched closer for the shot.
