This series of works on 'Drawing and Object' are created by students during the course 'Introduction to Experimental Drawing', which demonstrated great visual expressiveness and creativity of the students. By adopting different visual languages including colours, lines and materials, they playfully twisted the mood and story of an ordinary object presented to the viewers.
This course aims to introduce students to the background, concepts and theories of experimental drawing, as well as drawing practices of renowned contemporary artists. Hands-on practices and group activities are the major components of this course, which allow students to explore visual elements and experiment with skills for combining materials and mark-making methods.
